I'm re-watching the Halloween movies because I have that kind of time, don't judge me...Must say though that it's been awhile sense I've watching them, so it's like watching them for the first time again. The only one I hated out of the series, top of the list, number 1 with a bullet...Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. I don't know if anyone here liked it but I thought it was all kinds of trash. Had nothing to do with Michael Myers, some crap about a clover and robots I don't know. But what's y'alls take on the Halloween series?

Again don't judge me :D.

You know, I've never really been into the Halloween series. I'm more of a Friday the 13th kinda guy. I love-love-love the first Halloween and, to a lesser extent, the second one, but the story they concocted for the 4th, 5th and 6th (and Resurrection, for that matter)... holy crap. I can't even begin to describe how much I hate those films. I did find myself enjoying Halloween H20.

I think I need to at least give 4, 5 and 6 a rewatch (because I haven't seen them in a couple years), and I honestly haven't ever gotten around to watching the 3rd one. It's very "love it or hate it" it seems like, so I'm worried. Plus, the plot sounds a little weak. But we'll see. I'll have to check it out eventually.

Don't ever get around to watching the third one, for the love of all that is holy don't!! I like Jason more just because Michael is more stalk and kill, as appose to Jason who it quite creative. Favorite kill to me was the sleeping bag, when Kane was Jason, loved it when he played Jason. And I was quite upset when I found out he wasn't playing Jason in Freddy vs. Jason. He deserved it damn it!!! Ken did a decent job but it still should have been Kane's role...fuck Ronny Yu!!! I do however like the new Jason though, haven't seen him run sense the crazy 80's :D.

I love the Halloween series more than Friday the 13th, simply because it's centered around the Halloween season, and that makes it all the more eerie. The original Halloween is the best, hands down, Halloween II is just as good...the Laurie Strode chase scene in the hospital is amazing. Never seen Halloween 3 and probably never will...what's the point? It has nothing to do with the others in the series...

Halloween 4 is actually a really good sequel...very good actually...I don't like it as much as 1, 2, and H20, but it's still good...Halloween 5 is ok at best...definately not the best in the series. Probably one of the weakest...I actually really love Halloween 6...It's one of my favorites in the series. IDK, I just really love it, especially the hospital sequence in the end...very eerie.

H20 is just as good as 1 and 2...probably the best of the sequels...Resurrection flat out sucks dick...Definately the worst. As for Rob Zombie's remake, I like that one just as much as 1 and 2...not as good as those, but it's still a very well made remake...excellent job on it. Very raw, bloody, and yes scary.

And for those that haven't seen the trailer for RZ's Halloween 2, go check it out...it's very good. The hospital sequence looks amazing, although it appears to be a dream sequence, as right after, we see Laurie wake up screaming? But it looks DAMN GOOD!

I agree about the H2 trailer, but I hate Deborah being in it. That's dumb as hell, especially the "kill for us" or whatever she says. Boo, Sheri Moon. Boo!

Must say with Sheri Moon-Zombie in the movie, you can only handle so much of her shrill voice. It just might ruin the movie for me. Her coupled with her 'ghostly' image is just retarded to me.

Yeah I agree about Sheri Moon...Rob only made an excuse to have her in the film because she's his wife and she's always up his ass...pretty retarded if you ask me...but...the scenes with her KIND of make sense because in the first Halloween (remake), Dr. Loomis said "Michael learned to live inside of his head", so he's obviously dreaming of his mother, and his imagination is having her tell him to kill...which is retarded because, well, Mrs. Voorhees much anyone? With that aside, the movie still looks kick ass though...i cant wait to see it!

There's an argument on another site, yes an internet argument, kind of comparing Michael and Jason know, with the mother images. And some people are taking it quite personal saying it's nothing alike. When in reality it is, Jason herd his mothers voice if I remember correctly, Michael just has an image to it, so it's worse. Movie does look bad-ass but like you said Ghost, Rob is only making excuses for having that annoying twat in another movie.

People will complain about that forever though. They're doing the same thing with F13 when Jason runs. It's funny saying they're HUGE Jason fans and say 'Jason never ran ever' when in part 2, 3 and maybe 4 I don't remember he ran his ass off!! FD4 will be amazing just for the fact it's in 3-D. FD 1, 2 and 3 had AMAZING deaths and this one will do, but if 3-fucking-D!!!!
