The driver of the truck, identified as William Berbert, 42, ran from the scene of the 8:46 p.m. crash on Spotswood-Englishtown Road. He was found on Matchaponix Road in Monroe nearly three hours later, Middlesex County Assistant Prosecutor Nicholas Sewitch said.
